Overview

This dashboard aggregates electrical consumption and billing KPIs across CSIR labs, normalizes data, and surfaces optimization opportunities with interactive drilldowns and narrative summaries. A comparative view shows best-in-class labs and quick wins per site.

Objectives

  • Track core KPIs: Contract Demand (CD), Load Factor (LF), Power Factor (PF), kWh, kVAh, and penalties/charges.
  • Identify zero-capex and low-capex savings opportunities with quantified impact.
  • Compare labs on normalized metrics and produce ranked scorecards.
  • Provide clean UX with modals, cards, and guided analyses.

Cross-lab snapshot: highlights best PF/LF, under-utilized CD, and outliers; supports quick drill-downs.

Optimization Analysis

Cards for CD right-sizing, PF correction, TOU shifting, harmonics/MD controls; each opens a modal with assumptions, steps, and ₹/year savings.

Narrative Explainer

Auto-generated, plain-English summary per lab (what to fix, how much it saves, priority level).

Lab Profiles

Per-lab trend lines, tariff notes, penalties, alerts.

Secure access for stakeholders (Google Sign-In).

Data Model

  • Inputs: Monthly bills, AMR logs (kWh/kVAh/MD), PF/LF, penalties, tariff slabs.
  • Processing: Cleaning, normalization, metric derivation (LF, PF bands), anomaly flags.

Move flexible loads off peak; simulate bill under alternate schedules.

Set demand alarms, correct billing errors, enforce shutdown schedules; immediate ₹ impact.
